Our specialty is sanitary process piping for food & beverage plants — and we're licensed B + C-60 contractors for structural steel, carbon pipe, plant maintenance, and ag work across the Central Valley.
Four lines of work, one standard: welds that pass inspection and paperwork that's ready before you ask.
Sanitary stainless tubing, CIP systems, HTST skids, tank and equipment tie-ins — purged, full-penetration TIG welds with qualification records for your file.
Flagship serviceA B + C-60 licensed sub for GCs: structural and misc metals, mezzanines, stairs, catwalks. COI and W-9 delivered the day you ask.
For general contractorsRepair welding, equipment installs, and shutdown support — scheduled around production, nights and weekends included.
For plant managersMobile rig across Tulare County: irrigation mains and manifolds, implement repair, trailers, corrals. The same hand that welds food-grade stainless.
For growersStructural steel forgives grinder dust. A sanitary line doesn't. Food and beverage work means purged, full-penetration TIG welds, wash-down-rated finishes, and job sites left inspection-clean — because your USDA and third-party auditors don't grade on effort. We carry ourselves differently on food-grade jobs, and this page just showed you: the forge stays on the fabrication side of the wall.
The Red Bull facility — piping complete
Above: prefabrication for the Red Bull project
In 2020, before Capital State existed, our founder led an elite crew of five welder/fitters supporting a major contracting company on the Red Bull facility build-out — prefabricating process piping welded to X-ray inspection standards. When the installing crews couldn't make the final tie-ins on that prefabricated pipe, his team was called to the facility to finish the job. They went immediately, worked urgently, and hit the deadline — nearly six months of piping in all, and a personal thank-you from the contractor. Capital State Welding & Construction was founded on the back of that project.
